Oh, fonts.
Whether you love or hate thinking about them— if you’re a blogger or online business owner, you have to have them!
And I know just how easy it is to get analysis paralysis when it comes to choosing the best brand fonts for your blog, website or Canva design graphics.
So in this post, I’ll be covering all things Canva fonts , which should provide you with a pretty good starting point for your designs!

Best Canva Font Pairings & Combinations
While I won’t be covering any details about the font history or why these font pairings look great together, I will be providing screenshots which show exactly how each font pairing will display as a heading, subheading and body copy font.
Just a quick note before going through these— if you ever get stuck on your body copy font, remember that you don’t have to reinvent the wheel.
Instead, try and stick with one of the following classic Google fonts:
Lato
Montserrat
Muli
Open Sans
Raleway
Roboto
Source Sans Pro
These are all legible fonts, which is one feature you should definitely care about (especially when it comes to your website body copy font!).

Below, I’ve piled up a “master list” of my top recommendations for Canva fonts, and they’re separated by the following:

And I’ve also included the following subsections:
Serif fonts— fonts that have the little “feet” looking stroke at the ends
Sans Serif fonts— fonts that do not have those little embellishments
Sans = without

Serifs & Sans Serifs are the most common font categories, but I did go ahead & add one more to the Canva Free Font section— slab serifs!
In case you have no idea what Slab Serif fonts are, here’s a quick example:
Slab serifs are essentially just serif fonts that have a slightly more “blocky” style to them.
